Christmas & More

Sofie had her first dance recital just before Christmas. She was sick the week they gave out the flier that told the final time so we thought it started a half hour later than it did so unfortunantly, grandparents missed her dancing and we didn't get it filmed because my parents had the video camera. But it was adorable to see her up there and to see the cute little ones dancing. Sofie loves dance and is excited to go every week. Even if she has to wear tights. Which is a fight every week to get the darn things on.



Wiatt is big enough for the little bath seat. I hate that he is that big already but I love that I can put him in it now. It's alot easier especially since our tub is so deep.


We started cereal with Wiatt too. And again, I still can't believe he is that big already. But from the very first time I gave it to him, he loved it!


Christmas came and went. And of course Sofie had to get something mickey and minnie mouse (that's the latest thing around here).


Sofie understood a little better this year what was going on and she liked going through her stocking.


Of course cars are still a big favorite too so we had to get some of those.


Jason got this huge Reese's candy bar. We took the picture with it next to the Wii remote so there is something to compare it too. It was delicious (even if I cringed when I saw the serving size on the back and one serving was like 1/16!)!


In case you were worried there wasn't any girl in Sofie, here you go. There is. She loves dressing up in these! She loves to have her finger nails painted (just ask Aunt Holli) and she loves parading around in my heels. She hates having her hair done but always wants to have "pretties" in her hair. And once after I did her hair she looked in the mirror and said "I look pretty good!"


Our big project for this Christmas was the kitchen. We spent a few nights staying up really late painting it and I think it turned out pretty good! I still have a few more projects planned for it that I just didn't get done before Christmas but Sofie loves it and is always making us dinner with her food and pots and pans.

Jason took this picture the other day. Wiatt is such a happy baby. He has his moments but overall he is happy and pretty content.
