What We've Been Up To

Since Sofie's birthday we have managed to keep busy. It has made my six weeks of maternity leave fly by! Where does time go?!! I feel like our schedule is already crazy, I don't know how much crazier it will be once I go back to work. Bring on the fun I guess!

Sofie started her little dance class the beginning of this month. She loves it and is always talking about dance and her tap shoes and dance shoes. It really is the cutest thing. Here is a picture of her in her little dance outfit.


Sofie has adjusted well to having Wiatt around. She still has moments when she gets jealous and needs attention right then. But most of the time she is a big help and is so sweet with her little brother! She's always worried about him when he cries and is always covering him with blankets or trying to give him the pacifier or sharing her pooh bears and blankie with him. So sweet!

Wiatt is now five weeks old. He is getting so big! He no longer looks like a little newborn and doesn't fit in his newborn clothes anymore. Sad! I think I'm having a harder time with Wiatt growing so fast because I now know how quickly the years go by. He is starting to be more awake and alert. That has been lots of fun! Our newest fun (not really) experience is an umbilical hernia. Wiatt's belly button all of a suddern puffed up and felt like it was full of fluid. A call to the Dr. and she suspects that's what it is. Just one more thing to worry about. He has an ultrasound tomorrow to check up on his kidney. Hopefully that goes well.
