This is what happens when I leave Sofie alone for a minute and she decides she wants to make chocolate milk. You can't really tell but the chair and floor are also covered in chocolate powder.
But then she gave me this look. How could I be mad? She just looked so dang cute!
Sofie found a nice place to sit. Until she grows some more that is! Jason got me this digital piano for my birthday. It was such a surprise and I love it! I have missed being able to play the piano whenever I want. I enjoy being able to just sit down and play without having to go to the church or someone elses house.
We decided to take Sofie to the zoo last Friday. My parents have been wanting to do this pretty much since we moved back up here. This is the baby elephant. Sofie had a lot of fun watching him. Or her. I'm not sure which!

Sofie wanted to get out and walk like the bigs kids. Funny how that works because I was wishing I could be pushed in a stroller like the little kids!

Some more little tidbits:
We have less than 3 weeks til little baby Wiatt is here. 18 1/2 days to be exact. Life has been really busy with work and getting ready for a new baby and showers and other plans for Erica and Kyle's wedding. It sure has helped time fly.
Sofie has also decided that she wants to go poop and pee in the potty. We have only had one successful try so far and I admit that I haven't really been pushing her. I only put her on the potty right now if she asks and she is still mostly in diapers. I just don't have the energy right now and I'm not sure how well potty training will go once Wiatt is here. So, until life settles down, this new adventure will probably be very slow and long.
Other than that, we haven't been up to anything to exciting but the day to day busy work of running a house and family. Hopefully more pictures to come soon!
