Missouri Trip and More

Well, Sofie and I are back from Missouri. We had tons of fun! Thank you Jen for letting us come to see you and the boys! These are some of my favorite pictures of Sofie and her cousins.

Here is Sofie and I at the park. I don't usually like posting pictures of me but I have to show off my hair! Jen cut and colored it for me and I love love love LOVE it! She is such a wonderful and amazing sister-in-law! I had so much fun! I always wanted a sister to tell me how my hair would look best and show me how to do it!



And last of all, this is Sofie in her cute little springy outfit(which sadly won't fit for long). She just looked so cute, well she always looks cute but I just had to take a picture!

Our Many Adventures With Sofie

Here are some pics that show a glimpse into our days. Sofie makes them so much fun and each day is a new adventure full of joy!


It was a little chilly the other day when we went for our walk so we put this cute hat on. Needless to say it was a little big but it did the trick! It kept our ears warm!

Sofie is getting really good at rolling over and now she has been attempting to move around. I can't believe how fast little babies learn!


This is one of my very favorite feeding time pictures. We were such a mess. There was rice cereal all over me and Sofie and the chair and about six spoons and everything else within a few feet of Sofie. I just can't believe how much of a mess one busy little girl can make! But then big girls and boys can make big messes too! Why is it so easy to make the mess yet so very difficult to clean it up?!

I figured since my kitchen is somewhat clean I could post pictures of it and slowly we might get ones of the whole house, one room at a time.




I couldn't figure out the best way to get the whole kitchen in the picture so I kinda took one of each half. My kitchen is still not the way I'd like it. I have more decorating and definitely more cleaning to do. My dream would be to put bead board up but I don't know if I'll ever talk Jase into that. I don't know why I have a fascination with beadboard but I love it! It's probably because my favorite waste of time is watching HGTV (just ask Jason) and they use it all the time. Our little home is definitely not big and I really REALLY miss the stainless steel appliances we had in our last apartment, but this is ours and it's home and we love it!

P.S. We do have an extra room with a somewhat-comfortable-at-least-you're-not-sleeping-on-the-floor bed and sometimes we get really homesick and would really really love visitors. So if you are in the neighborhood and need a place to stay... you can stay with us! Oh and I am putting up thick curtains to block out the fantastically placed street lamp! :)

Finally!!!!

Sorry it's been a long time! We are finally all moved into our new condo and we are loving it! Pictures are on their way, I've just been waiting until I get the house cleaned. Hahaha. Like that will happen! We try but between work and school and sickness and moving, we've been really busy!

Here are some updates:

We moved in the middle of January.
Then Sofie got RSV. Not fun.
Then she gave it to Jase and I. Not fun again.
We had one beautiful week where we all felt great!
Then Sofie got an ear infection.
And I got sick.
And Jase got pink eye.
And in the meantime we still had work and school.
And here we are. Feeling close to better!

Sofie is getting really big! Last time she was weighed she was 16 lbs. 2 oz. and was 25 1/2 inches long. She likes to talk and squeal and roll around. Here are some current pics.

I bought Sofie these cute sunglasses for when we go walking. The sun is always in her eyes and I just felt so bad! At first she wouldn't leave them on but today she didn't even seem to notice they were there.

Mommy had some too!


Maybe it's silly but I just thought it was so fun that I had sunglasses that matched Sofie's. So I had to take a picture.
