For Jared, Jodi, and family and Mom and Pop Howell

Hopefully this says alot. Thank you to Jared and Jodi and family for giving us the fridge! We LOVE it! It is much quieter than our old one. Our old fridge made a sound that combined that high pitched ringing you hear sometimes and a very loud humming. It was enough to make you feel like your head was going to explode. And then when it shut off it sounded like someone dropped some metal object from three floors up. It took a few months to get used to that in the middle of the night. Plus, it's just a bigger and better fridge all around! THANK YOU! And to Mom and Pop, thank you for bringing it down and moving it and for all the elbow grease you put into it! That helped ALOT! We really appreciated all your help! THANK YOU!

I'm sorry but this may be a long post. Alot has happened and we have been so busy! Since our last post, we went up north for a friends wedding and to visit family. Here are some pictures of that trip.

I just can't believe how fast Sofie has grown. She is so big! She now waits in her crib like this... And this picture shows her favorite thing to do! We finally got rid of these... I threw them out tonight. Yeah! When she started teething I gave them to her more and she decided that she wanted them all the time. That led to a week of difficult nights where every half hour the pacifier would fall out and she would scream til you put it back in. All night. So I decided we were done. Five days later she was weaned! Again, YEAH! And now she sleeps all night!

She now has two teeth on the bottom.

They are a little hard to see but they are the two tiny white things to the right of the cheerio. Which, by the way, the little stinker has decided are not as good as sweet cereal or the little puffs snacks.

She definitly uses her teeth to her advantage. Today she kept trying to push the pretty blue power button on the computer when I was using it. So I kept covering it with my hand and she kept pulling at my hand. Finally, when she realized I wouldn't move my hand, and before I realized what she was doing, she clamped her little teeth down on my hand!

Two weekends ago, my parents came down to visit, Jason and I had to speak in church, and the condo next to us in our building caught fire. It was great having my parents come and we are just glad the talks are done. The fire was quite the experience. It was a kitchen fire just on the other side of our kitchen wall. Luckily, no damage was done to our condo and we are all safe and sound!

This past weekend, Jason's parents came down. We had fun and enjoyed their company. I think Sofie has enjoyed these past two weeks getting to see grandparents.

We finally got a video of Sofie doing her "Sofie Lou" dance. She decided to add in her wave and clapping too. She just picks up things so fast! It's so fun to watch her learn. Now we are working on our spirit fingers and lots of the time she'll do it and it is just darling! Enjoy!
