I've been bad. I know.

The other title of this post should be "For Jen" because I really owe her several posts now. I don't know how many times I have told her I'll post a new post soon and then don't. So here is our new post. Mostly my biggest motivation for this post is Wiatt's birthday. I have to have something big to motivate me I guess because I am so not blogging savvy and it takes me forever and lots of frustration to create just one post. Excuses excuses... Anyways. I can't believe my little guy is a year old already!!!

Wiatt actually kinda got the idea of unwrapping presents but since he is laid back and slower moving about things (like his daddy), his sister, who was super excited to see what was in the presents and is not slow moving (she got the crazy gene from her mother that makes it so we just. can't. sit. still. it's torture!) mostly unwrapped them all before he got the chance. But he did know that the toys were his and he was upset that sister thought she could play with them!

We did cupcakes instead of cake because I like having an excuse to actually have to make cupcakes. Usually I don't get to even if I want to because let's face it, they can be more time consuming. Wiatt liked them though as you can tell. This is how he eats everything. This is how he ate two whole pb & j sandwiches is about three minutes flat. Without choking. It was amazing!

Not that these are amazing, I just wanted to show this cute idea I found about putting up a picture from every month of Wiatt's first year. It was fun to look at. And, I forgot to take a picture of the treats before they were eaten so here is an after picture. I guess they must not have been too bad because most are gone. Still too much are left though. Too much to still tempt me to eat them.

I can't believe my babies are getting so big. I'm glad it's at least fun and exciting to see them grow because it is also really sad that they have to grow so fast and if it wasn't fun to see then I don't think I could handle the sadness of it!
