WARNING! ... Long post! Picture overload!

So, once again it's been a while. Life has been busy. I'm so so so glad to say that school is finally out for the summer. I'm excited to be able to stay home with Sofie again all day and not to have to worry about tests and homework and clinicals. I would like to just play with my baby. Sadly, we found out last week that Sofie has yet another ear infection. Only this time it's in both ears. This is the third ear infection in three months. We are guessing that the last one never fully healed and that's what caused this one to be so bad. The doctor said she was pretty much infected from the lungs up. Poor baby. She was miserable. But she is very happy now. She is busy and loves to stand. She can't stand on her own but she would rather have you help her stand than sit her down. She hates the feel of our carpet and she really hated the feel of grass. She says mama alot. It's so fun to know she knows me and loves me! She knows just when to say it to pull at my heart strings. She is getting so big! We have had fun now that the weather is nice and warm and school is out. Here are some pictures from our latest adventures.

Okay, so maybe our Friday nights aren't all that exciting. But hey, great place to put the remote!

Down here they have a kite festival every spring. We decided to check it out. This is Sofie getting ready.

There were alot of fun things to do and see at the festival. This was one of the best. They call it an elephant scone since it's almost as big as an elephants ear. And let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS!

This is Sofie just chillin' in her stroller. The festival was pretty fun. They had tons of fun things for kids to do and play on. They have a big open field to fly kites. (Which I wanted to do but my hubby said no!) Unfortunantly, it wasn't great kite flying weather. Hardly any wind. We decided it will be even more fun when Sofie is older and can enjoy all the huge blow up toys and rides. They have concerts and fireworks in the evening but we didn't stay for those.

Sofie and her daddy with their matching hats!

Sofie and "mama"!

We bought lunch at the festival. I had this super yummy corn dog and Jase had some delicious sweet corn. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

We decided after the kite festival that swimming sounded like a good idea since it was so hot. We decided we would go check out our pool and take Sofie swimming for her very first time. We got Sofie all ready and wouldn't ya know it, she pooped in her swim diaper before we even left the house. But doesn't she just look cute! The water was ice cold! We didn't get in at all. We did put her feet in and she HATED it! They weren't even in for a second yet it took her a good ten minutes to calm down. Poor girl!

It was such a long day, we just wore poor Sofie out! This is how she fell asleep!

Sunday we decided an evening walk sounded like fun. Oh and Sofie says hi!

We put the blanket up to shade Sofie from the sun but all throughout the walk we would find various body parts sticking out!

This is how she decided she would shade her face.

I love St George! I just love the views and especially the temple against the red rocks!

This is probably the best picture we have ever taken of Sofie smiling! Jason played on a softball league this spring. Today was the play offs. Sofie and I have loved going and watching him play. And that's where we were when I took this picture.

Well, these are the last from then softball game. Sofie hated the grass but she sure loved this little pile of dirt!Hopefully now that school is out we will be able to update more!

AAAWWWEEE, what a sweet girl. I like seeing pictures of what you guys are up to. Sofie is growing so fast and you can actually see some hair coming. And Your hair is still looking cute. And I laughed at the matching hats, what a nerd Jason is. Yeah, school is done! I'll give you a call soon.
